About the position: If you have the following qualifications and a proven track record of  experience performing the following responsibilities, we would like to hear from you: 

·         a BSEE and a PE or EIT or equivalent experience

·         1-15 years experience in mission critical facility engineering gained while working for an MEP firm or A/E firm, including the following:

    • Performing the electrical engineering discipline on critical facilities projects, including electrical design of mission critical building power distribution systems, emergency power systems, lighting, fire alarm, telecom grounding, lightning protection and security systems, etc.
    • Reviewing electrical designs, and performing site reviews and inspections
    • Preparing feasibility reports, electrical specs and bid documents
    • Interfacing with clients/contractors

·         Proficient user of MS Office

·         Ability to travel approximately 20%

·         Currently living in the Atlanta area or willing to relocate with moderate financial assistance

Preferred: Professionals who meet all of the above criteria and one or more of the following will receive preference. 

·          Critical facilities electrical design leadership experience – e.g. not just performing but leading the electrical engineering discipline on critical facilities projects

·         Masters in EE and/or  LEED AP

·         Not only a Licensed Electrical Engineer, but an established NCEES record is preferred

·         Working knowledge of AutoCAD a plus, especially the ability to effectively communicate electrical design intent to CAD techs

·         Broadly diverse experience in either telecommunication or  renovation projects preferred
